Welcome to the great new format of Yeshiva High-lites!
We kick off the second year of our revolutionary
newsletter with a whole new look. In addition to
exciting new
colors, fonts and masthead
(above), the important links section is now right below
this
introduction, and we've added sections for comments
by readers and student birthdays.
Many thanks to WYHS Technology Director Mrs. Claudia
Cohen for her boundless creativity and endless
dedication to this publication and our school.
A special refuah shleima to Rabbi Benjy
Horowitz, who is undergoing surgery today for an injury
incurred "in
the line of duty".
Shabbat
Shalom and Enjoy!

WYHS Alumni and Yeshivot in Israel |
|
Each year, WYHS faculty visit our alumni in Israel and
the yeshivot and seminaries to which our present
seniors are considering applying. Mrs. Kanner visited our
graduates and the women's schools in November and
Rabbi Tirschwell visited our students and the men's
schools in January.
The graduates felt that they were counseled well at
WYHS in their yeshiva and seminary choices. Thirty six
out of forty of this year's seniors are planning on
studying in Israel next year before beginning their
university studies in the US.
